What I actually do

What you see me doing and what I am actually doing are two quite different things! I do understand, having been a continuous student of this subject for many, many years, that Feng Shui can seem a little bit of a mystery. When an early missionary to Hong Kong asked the local people what Feng Shui was, someone replied that Feng Shui is like "the wind that you cannot see and the water that you cannot grasp". I can safely say now that I have worked my way through all the different systems and schools of Feng Shui and have got down to the "nitty gritty" of it. Here is a brief summary of most of what I cover whilst surveying your property.

  • Jon PakuaCalculation of each individual's astrology/chart
  • Lo Shu number and Kua number of each individual on the property
  • Outside the property I check the Form School - looking for the Mountain, the Tiger, the Dragon and the Phoenix
  • Where is the Chi coming from relative to the front door
  • Using the Lo Pan Compass - which Mountain is the Chi entering the property from
  • Using the Lo Pan Compass checking the precise Mountain direction of any sources of negative Chi
  • Surveying the plot and sub-dividing it into 9 areas relative to the Early Heaven Sequence Trigrams
  • Inside the property I check obvious Form School strengths and weaknesses e.g. sharp edges, sharp corners, badly hung doors, beds under beams, desks by windows etc.
  • I calculate the horoscope of the house using Late Heaven Sequence Trigrams
  • I check which of the 24 Mountains are at the front door and at the back door
  • I check each of the 9 sectors of the property to ascertain where the Chi is at its strongest and weakest during this current Fate Period
  • With the Lo Pan Compass I check which of the 72 Dragons at the front door and the back door and whether their Chi is strong or weak
  • Using the 5 Elements I check colours relative to each room and sector of the property
  • I calculate the Flying Stars for each sector of the property and make recommendations to either strengthen or drain the Chi
  • I fly the Lo Shu stars room by room to locate the best position for desks, cooker, bed, wardrobe etc
  • I use the Loa Ban ruler to check precise dimensions (width, length, height) of your desk and main door to give you the most support.
