" Feng Shui is the art
of being in the right place at the right time. Feng Shui Astrology
deals with the time aspect and was always part of Feng Shui -
the other side of the coin. It comes from Japan where it is called
9 Star Ki. Fundamentally, 9 Star Ki was born from a perception
that everything is created twice, first in our minds ,Japanese
call it Ju Kai - Unmanifested Spirit, and then physically ,Ken
Kai - Manifested Spirit. Yu Kai constitutes 99% of the whole reality
and has authority over Ken Kai - physical realm. So if you plan
well, the physical plane will follow and your dreams and goals
will be manifested spontaneously. How would you feel if you had
already made this change?
Jon Sandifer makes Feng Shui Astrology very
practical and easy to follow. The beauty of this system is that
you'll be able to work out horoscopes for yourself and friends
in your head using simple formulas in no time at all. This book
is an absolute must in your kitchen, car and office. Essential
companion book to Feng Shui Made Easy by William Spear who recommends
it as the book on 9 Star Ki. "

"In this very accessible book,
Jon Sandifer explains the basic principles of Feng Shui Astrology,
otherwise known as 9 Star Ki, enabling the reader to work out
their own primary, character and energetic numbers. Using this
combination it is possible to understand our essential nature,
the kind of career which would be most suitable, any particular
body strengths and weaknesses and much more.
"A fascinating book which adds a new dimension
to understanding ourselves, our relationships and our place in
life."

Those who have attended any
of Jon's talks or workshops will recognise his style in this book.
You will be able to picture him, perched on a stool, calmly combining
ancient philosophy with yarns from the motor racing world whilst
making you feel as though you have an amazing grasp of this complex
subject.
The book is a breath of fresh air. No Chinese
words or symbols here. Just the simple explanations and the putting
everything into context we have come to expect from Jon. An introduction
which acts as a long contents page allows us to see the whole
picture. This is followed by an overview of the basic concepts
of yin and yang and the Five Transformations, Elements, with a
useful table giving the emotions and behaviours attached to each
Ki number.
The section on the I-Ching offered useful
interpretations of the trigrams and, like the rest of the book,
is illustrated with examples of famous people. Relationships are
well covered and are explored in terms of the I-Ching family and
Five Transformations, which enables us to plot our relationships
with our family.
An exciting new departure in the section
on time builds on using the Ki numbers of plan projects, house
moves etc in a given year by offering a simple method of finding
auspicious months as well. Directionology, which the Ki is so
good at, is also covered.
True understanding comes only from personal
study and not from information which is given by someone else.
Sound advice to conclude a very useful addition to your bookshelves.
